Happy International Scrapbook Day woohooo!! So exciting! A day dedicated completely to our wonderful papercrafting addictions hobbies, how wonderful!

Today is extra special because I am releasing my brand new Happy Little Stamps! There are 2 different subscriptions you can get;

If you look to the right on the sidebar, there is a subscription button for each one, or you can hit the very bottom button under the cute sticky note and subscribe to both! You actually get a deal if you do it that way! If you go up to the top tabs, there's a page for each subscription and each one has all the deets :)

Here are the releases for the month of May;

I thought how fitting for International Scrapbook Day to kick of these stamps with a pretty paper stamp?! This will be so fun to use on all of those happy scrappy days, crops, scrapbook expos, retreats, all of those good things! I love a good label stamp, they can be used on anything!

I love this verse, it is such a good one with much needed encouragement!

I hope you love them as much as I do! I've been having so much fun designing them! If you have any questions please direct message me on Instagram or email me at sarah.smile21@hotmail.com!

Hey paper peeps! This is the last sneaky peeky of my brand new happy little stamps before making their big debut tomorrow eeekkk!! I am so super excited! And nervous.. hope you like them!

 I have been working on a mini album for my mom, it's made out of a vintage book that I picked up in an antique store! She's a quilter, so when I saw an old beautiful book called "The Patchwork Quilt," you know it accidentally fell into my cart heh heh...

It's about all of our hobbies, scrapbook adventures, expos, crafting parties, hoarding of pretty things, trips to bakeries, all of those good things! Who would've thought that our hobbies would turn into lifestyles, which would in turn result in crazy adventures?!

Can't wait to show more of this book to you! It's getting quite chunky :)

I love putting paint chips in my junky artsy fartsy journals, they are so perfect for journaling and layering! It's a happy bonus when you find one with cute paint names on it!

I added a messy & quick layer of gesso on the base book page and large shipping tag before creating the page, I just love how gesso softens everything and makes it so subtle and pretty!

Do you have special plans for International Scrapbook Day?! I love this day! So much fun going on all over social media, it's so exciting!

Thank you so much for stopping by! Come back tomorrow at 7p.m. to subscribe to some really cute stamps!

xoxo Sarah

national scrapbooking day

5.05.2020

Hey paper peeps! This past Saturday 5/2/20 was National Scrapbooking Day yayy! Can you believe that I've been scrapping for 20 years now?! How did you celebrate, did you make something pretty?! I created something using this darling new digital kit by Make A Pretty Life, not only was it super cute but they were donating some of the proceeds to charity!

The kit is about the crazy corona virus and all of the weirdness going on lately like the toilet paper shortage, staying home, home school, etc. Since staying home is my favorite thing lol, I created a house shaped accordion mini album! I started off by making a flag pole using a wooden stick and a cut out piece from the ephemera page. I mean a house needs a flag pole right ;) The cute paper I used on the cover is actually a Simple Stories paper from their vintage garden collection!

Before I adhered the page down that I wanted to use for journaling, I ran it through my cute pink typewriter by WRMK!

The house accordion is a cut file in the Silhouette Design Store, I think I cut it twice and taped them together..

There's a cute rainbow printed page in the kit, so I fussy cut some of those and turned them upside down to make shingles for my roof lol! They look so whimsical and fun I love them!

Here's a look at my few other pages, the mask is held on by a star brad so you can slide it down to see my son's cute smile! I love interactive pieces! Social distancing is my jam man! It's so weird to see those things on the floor at the grocery store ohmygosh...

I had so much fun making this little book! I love that it showcases just a little touch of our lives right now, I love to remember the little details!

I printed out the kit by uploading it to Office Depot, then I just went and picked it up in the store super easy peasy!

Of course I had to add leaves to my house, these die cut ones were just chillin on my desk so I threw them on there.  I'm obsessed with flowers and leaves heh heh..

Thanks so much for stopping by, stay happy and scrappy!
