striped label stamp

9.29.2021

Hey paper peeps! Over in my little Etsy Shop there I have some darling stamps that are perfect for journaling, and one of them is this cute striped label stamp!

I just love all the possibilities with this thing! Wouldn't it be cute stamped in red for a Santa shipping tag?! EEK!!

Here's how I used it in my September travelers notebook mini album:

I stamped the label part in one color and the words in a different color, so fun!

A good tip if you want to type on it, stamp it onto a larger piece of cardstock, then run it through your typewriter BEFORE you cut it out! Then it goes through super nicely!

Did you notice the cute little stamped leaves? Those are the ones in the September Story Stamp subscription! If you'd like to subscribe and get a pretty little pink package in the mail each month, hit the button in the sidebar!

Have you been documenting your fall so far? I'm trying to keep up as much as I can, it's such a beautiful good smelling yummy season I don't want to forget anything!

Thank you so much for stopping in! Have a happy scrappy day!

xoxo Sarah

halloween past mini album part 1.

10.09.2020

Hey paper peeps! Lately I've been going through pictures and I noticed that I have years and years of Halloween pictures that I haven't scrapped! Lots of fun memories even from when I was little! So I decided to create a mini album of just a mixy mash (monster mash?) of memories in one place!

I'm using an old Little Golden Book as my base, with a mix of collections such as Crate Paper Hey Pumpin and Simple Stories Happy Haunting! This old sparkly book plate is super old, it's by a company called Making Memories! They were so awesome! The Jolly Halloween vintage paper is from an old Halloween party book :)

I was so bummed one day, I was running all over looking for black pom pom trim and I couldn't find any. Then I saw a lady was getting some of this black tassel trim cut at a fabric counter in Hobby Lobby and I was like ohmygosh cut me some too! I can't believe how much it looks like little witch brooms sooo cute!

I love folding my pages so they're all different sizes! Then you can have stuff hangin off and stickin out all over love it!

This is my cute niece and I, I think it was about 1998-ish?  I was so proud of my big smily face pumpkin, it took hours lol!

Much more to come on this fun little album, stay tuned!

national scrapbooking day

5.05.2020

Hey paper peeps! This past Saturday 5/2/20 was National Scrapbooking Day yayy! Can you believe that I've been scrapping for 20 years now?! How did you celebrate, did you make something pretty?! I created something using this darling new digital kit by Make A Pretty Life, not only was it super cute but they were donating some of the proceeds to charity!

The kit is about the crazy corona virus and all of the weirdness going on lately like the toilet paper shortage, staying home, home school, etc. Since staying home is my favorite thing lol, I created a house shaped accordion mini album! I started off by making a flag pole using a wooden stick and a cut out piece from the ephemera page. I mean a house needs a flag pole right ;) The cute paper I used on the cover is actually a Simple Stories paper from their vintage garden collection!

Before I adhered the page down that I wanted to use for journaling, I ran it through my cute pink typewriter by WRMK!

The house accordion is a cut file in the Silhouette Design Store, I think I cut it twice and taped them together..

There's a cute rainbow printed page in the kit, so I fussy cut some of those and turned them upside down to make shingles for my roof lol! They look so whimsical and fun I love them!

Here's a look at my few other pages, the mask is held on by a star brad so you can slide it down to see my son's cute smile! I love interactive pieces! Social distancing is my jam man! It's so weird to see those things on the floor at the grocery store ohmygosh...

I had so much fun making this little book! I love that it showcases just a little touch of our lives right now, I love to remember the little details!

I printed out the kit by uploading it to Office Depot, then I just went and picked it up in the store super easy peasy!

Of course I had to add leaves to my house, these die cut ones were just chillin on my desk so I threw them on there.  I'm obsessed with flowers and leaves heh heh..

Thanks so much for stopping by, stay happy and scrappy!
