you make me happy

Hey there! Are you having a scrappy Sunday?! Just wanted to pop in to share this simple little layout with you ;) What is your favorite size layout to make? This is an 8.5x11 and I forgot how much fun they are! Omgosh this is an old pic but it makes me so happy! That little happy face...

 This is one of the charms from the new Maggie Holmes line "Sunny Days," I tied it around the bottom of the layout with bakers twine, just a simple little detail on the bottom. ;)

I found this cut file just laying on my desk in a pile of pretty things, so I gave it a watercolor bath in Shimmerz Paints "Luck of the Irish," It's so pretty! Love this color! 

This happy sticker is an old Dear Lizzy one, I have a whole drawer of her stuff that I need to stop hoarding lol! But it is kinda fun going through your stash, it's like shopping for it all over again heh heh!

Adorable

Hey there TGIF woohooo! As I was straightening my messy table where I create, I found all of these cute little scraps & ephemera. I have been trying so hard to use my stash and stop hoarding, so I decided to just cluster them together and put them on a layout!

For the background, I colored onto a wrinkly piece of packaging with a gelato, sprayed it with water, then flipped it over onto my ledger paper and kind of smeared it around. This created a really cute and subtle watercolor background, I love it! 

Are you going to be taking some time to be creative today? Go through your stash and see what little bits & pieces you can find, and make something pretty with them!

to the moon and back

Hey there paper peeps! So tell me... are you a paper hoarder? Ohmygosh I have so much paper and I don't know whyyyyy?!?!  I just love it, it's my weakness.. I realized yesterday as I was "shopping" thru my stash.. I found this super cute moon paper by Studio Calico and was like, how have I never used this?! So. Darn. Cute.

So I used it can you believe it?! This layout is so simple it seriously took me like 8 minutes, but I love it! I did just realize though, that the lighting on the right side of the layout is darker than the left, but that is ok. I'm learning to just, let it gooo. 

Do you ever create things to just gush over your loved ones and tell them how much you love them? I do, I feel like I need to.. just in case.. plus when you see their faces light up it makes it all worth while ;)
