new mercies every morning

Hey paper peeps! I've been playing with this month's Happy Little Stamps, and I just love the verse in the Faith subscription!
"His mercies are new every morning." Lamentations 3: 22-23.
We all have horrible days sometimes, I swear some days it's like you're just taking a day long beating! But the amazing thing is that God is faithful and there is no expiration date on his mercy! Each day we can begin again, even if we wake up on the wrong side of the bed!

I love this statement I found online, it says "The dawning of every new day could be seen as a symbol of God's light breaking through the darkness and his mercy overcoming our troubles." Isn't that awesome?!

I haven't done a 6x12 layout in a long time, it was so fun to do something different! Definitely going to be playing with this size more!

Do your furry friends like to participate in your crafting too? :)

If you'd like to subscribe to our Happy Little Stamps and get a pretty little pink package in the mail each month, go on over to the sidebar! me oh my, i love pie

Hey paper peeps! What is your favorite dessert? I have to say I love all desserts, but one of my favorites is the deliciously famous pie! MMMmmmmm with the brown flaky crust ohmygosh and crumbly topping.. I literally have dreams about it lol!

Recently we went over to Shipshewana Indiana to pay a visit to the amish :) My moms a quilter so we've been going there almost every year since I was little! It's a very special tradition for us! So basically she goes for fabric, I go for the pie heh heh.. There's just these amazing handmade with love beautiful pies everywhere. It's like heaven.. but not for my love handles..

Anyhoo, of course I was inspired to create a sweet little stamp set about this amazing treat! It's over in my Etsy shop right now eek!

Isn't it so fun?! I just love this scalloped photo corner stamp! I'm going to start incorporating them in my stamp sets, I'm so excited! Always looking for more ways to spice up my projects!

I hope you love it and I can't see what you do with it! Don't forget to tag me on Instagram at @sarahbargo and follow my Facebook page Sarah Bargo Co.!

memories- to go!

Hey paper peeps! How are you, hangin in? doin ok? Life is super crazy right now yikes! Times like these are when I'm so thankful to have a hobby! I love to just decompress and stick my nose in some pretty paper! I wanted to share something I put in my shop yesterday, they're called "Memories To Go" kits and they are so fun! There are 4 different colors, mint green, pink, gray, and a gorgeous browny taupe color!  This is what the mint green kit looks like, a darling floral cup and some basic foundation pieces that you can use to make an adorable project!

This is what I did with mine, I created a darling little mini album!

I put the book plate from the kit on the cover, then layered it over a piece of vintage dictionary paper and under some pretty things I found on my desk!

I took seam binding and hot glued it to the inside to create a closure bow!

This thing is so chunky and cute I just love all the layers inside!

Here's the back upside down view :)

There is a pretty piece of pink shiny tulle in the kit, I stuck it in between 2 pieces of paper so it's just another pretty layer in there!

I took some pieces of patterned paper and stacked them on top of each other, then stapled the spine. Then I just double taped them to the inside back cover! That made it into a cute little book!

I just love little word snippets...

I had this cute little piece of hummingbird paper, so I taped down along the edge and stuck my tag in there, it stays!

Hop on over to the shop and see all the pretty little things! Have a happy scrappy day!
